Kings County Hospital Center

Kings County Hospital Center claims to be Central Brooklyn's leading healthcare center. And, with their current renovations, they appear as though they intend on staying that way.

The renovation which should be complete in 2008, will provide 230 inpatient mental health and chemical dependency beds, a new psychiatric emergency center, several new mental health programs, and many other non-mental related hospital updates.

The hospital currently offers a comprehensive alcoholism outpatient center, which assists patients by creating an individual recovery plan. The programs goal is to treat the patient's physical conditions and help them through their rehabilitation.

Beyond the mental health programs, Kings County Hospital Center also offers an abundance of inpatient and outpatient services. Additionally, the hospital offers multicultural services in a broad range of languages.
