Catholic Social Services offer a variety of programs to deal with the mental health problems associated with adoption. This program offers a caregiver assistance network, which provides support for caregivers through education, support groups, and related services.
It also offers counseling services for couples, families, and individuals in order to help develop skills for managing emotional difficulties, stresses of daily life, and relationship or family problems.

Center for Children and Families
The Center for Children and Families provides a variety of services geared primarily toward children. Through community outpatient services, the Center for Children and Families provides counseling and community support for children and adolescents. The Center for Children and Families also offers a program for children who have been sexually abused, called A Voice. Through this 18-week program, trained therapists provide treatment for victims, their siblings, and their parents (so long as none of them are the offender). The Center for Children and Families also provides services for child and adolescent sex offenders.
Juvenile Firesetters Prevention Program, of JFPP, is also offered through The Center for Children and Families. Through this program, The Center for Children and Families works with fire officials and juvenile court officials to make the distinction between children who set fires out of curiosity and those who are truly troubled. Those who do have a serious underlying mental health issue receive treatment through the center’s outpatient program. This program serves as a model for fire departments and mental health agencies throughout the country.
